I’m officially a Social Worker!! After 12 years, I am a LCSW! I still have no idea why...haha… But, seriously. People inevitably ask what I’m going to do with the license now that I have it. I don’t know! I do know that I was supposed to get my Master’s Degree back in 2006. I had prayed about it and felt peace about continuing school. So, I did. Then, life happened and I had babies and coffee shop responsibilities and never gave the licensing part of my degree much thought. Until 2 years ago. I began feeling like I should maybe, possibly, apply to get my license. The beginning of 2018 was when God began to increase the sense of urgency for pursuing licensing. So, I did. I completed all of the application process and in Sept I took the licensing test. No school for 11 years; 1 month to study 1 book I borrowed from an old classmate; 1 failed practice test; And, I was ready!! Ha! I went to the test center completely trusting that my Father had led me to this place and that He would come through for me. He totally did! I completed my background check via mail since we were already living in an RV and were somewhere in the middle of Cali. Today, I checked my status and it is official! LCSW. This is a reflection of how my life is led by my perfect Father God. I try to listen as he gently leads me along His purposes for me and for His glory. One step at a step; one foot in front of the other; not too fast and not too slow. I believe He will bring the next part of the journey to me just as He has done with all the other parts. I am excited to see what that next piece of the puzzle is and I’m extra excited to share it with you!!!

Have you ever heard someone say, "Go Where God Is?" I heard it somewhere a long time ago and always thought it meant to go where revival was happening or a church was really growing. Basically, it sounded like a physical place where people could see God's power with their eyes. However, a few weeks ago I was waiting on God and Holy Spirit brought that very phrase up in my mind. I believe He was saying, "That is correct!" and "There is more to it!" Now, before I go any further I think it's interesting that the same words can have very different and unique meanings. Like much of scripture, people can interpret things very differently. If we don't have the power of the Holy Spirit working through us and enlightening our minds to God's truth in scripture, we can be very blind to the gospel. Holy Spirit revealed a whole new meaning to me about this phrase, "Go where God is." It is often very important for us to take action and actually GO to a place where God is obviously working. I believe the reason for this is that it takes us out of our comfort zones and our normal, everyday lives. It could be a jolt to your soul and help to wake you up spiritually. However, there is far more to being where God is than just a physical location. Holy Spirit revealed that we need to be where God is moving in the spirit realm. Simply stated, do what He tells you to do, go where He tells you to go. If you don't know, seek Him until you do. You want to be obedient to the plan He has for your life. His plan will be the greatest adventure you will ever go on! God wants to have a vibrant relationship with us that is very active and powerful. That said, Go where God is, is not what I thought. I believe what it really means is, "to be in the light as He is in the light," as it says in 1 John 1:7; or "to abide in me as my words abide in you," as found in John 15:7. "Walking according to the Spirit," in Romans 8 gives an extended discourse on what that means. TO GO WHERE GOD IS is to be sold out for God's purposes; to walk with Him at all times; to live for eternity; to love others unconditionally; to make disciples and I could go on. God is Spirit and to go where He is, is to walk at all times with the Holy Spirit. We're not perfect at it, but we must pursue it with all our hearts. Will you join with us as we go where the Spirit of God leads? I LOVE cooking and baking. At one point in my life, I may have said that my dream kitchen would have a plethora of counter space, every gadget to enhance the experience and, definitely, a dishwasher. However, God always knows better. He knows that if I had those things, I may have decided to settle down right there and be content to stay in one place for the rest of my life. Instead, we are currently on the adventure of a lifetime, living in an RV and traveling around the country! God has purposes that surpass my expectations every time. Typically, I write about the deepest feelings of my heart. I love to lay it all bare before you, exposing my real and raw emotions. But, today is not that day... Today, I want to talk about a more practical aspect of our lives: RV living with lots of kids and feeding them on a budget. Mostly because I have been killing it in regards to cooking and baking in a tiny home for a large family ;) haha… Seriously, though. We have learned some "Hoeckle Habits" that minimize spending (and, consequently, minimize stress to our marital relationship, if you know what I mean). And, I want to share a few of those habits with you. Before all that, here are some unexpected benefits that have increased our quality of life as a result of our swan dive (or, bellyflop) into RV life:
***check out our Instagram post today for a picture of our me cooking in our RV :)*** {{Here is my spiritual disclaimer: we never want to talk about any aspect of our lives without acknowledging God. He is consuming every single area of our lives and we desperately want Him to be glorified in everything...which includes taking care of a family of 6 while living in an RV! I’ll even give you a verse to back us up, so to speak. This was spoken by Jesus: “But to those who use well what they are given, even more will be given. But from those who are unfaithful, even what little they have will be taken away.” (Luke 19:26) Point: God wants us to be faithful in all that He gives us. If we are, He promises to give us more. And, God can always be counted on to keep His promises, 100% of the time! OKAY...back to my practical post. We have lived fulltime in our RV/tiny home for almost 4 months and have successfully lived within our budget of: $150 per week. This $150/week includes all of our groceries, plus ALL household items. And, for a family of 6 that can be a lot (yes, diapers and wipes are included in that number)! Here we go: Large Family of 6 Living Fulltime in their RV on $150/week Budget How did we decide on $150/week? Well, we said to ourselves, “hmmm… Can we live for under $150/week? I don’t know… Let’s try it!” Now, Josh may have a more scientific approach as to why we picked that number, but, hey, this is me telling my story! **SIDENOTE: If budgeting is difficult for you, as it was for me, I want to share my secret. We DON’T ITEMIZE! Gasp!! We clump all of our necessities together into one giant category (that’s right, 1!): food, diapers, toilet paper, toothpaste, deodorant, paper towels, laundry. Every necessity. Then, we try to come in below our target line of $150/week on average. Some weeks we have to spend more than that because of the whole toddler still in diapers thing, but then the next week we try to come in under the mark by making more meals from the canned goods and dried beans hiding away in the dark recesses of our cabinets.***Honestly, this has been the only budgeting system that has worked for me since I married my “Money-Man” in 2004.** We really want to feed our children well. I want their main foods to be real foods that I cook in our itty-bitty RV kitchen. So, we focus on that when shopping, while attempting to hit our budget mark. Now, I didn’t start out with some master plan for meal planning and grocery shopping. I didn’t research blogs or vlogs or anything like that. Our method has just developed naturally over the past 3 months. Without further adieu, I will share a few tactics that have helped us out in the kitchen:
That’s it! That’s all the budgeting and food shopping and cooking advice I have for you for now. I would say the first month of our adventures flew by as sort of a “honeymoon” period: everyone was excited all the time, there was very little complaining, the mundane aspect of food prep was very far down on our radar. But after more than 3 months, real life has settled down upon us. We now realize the need for intentionality with our time during each day, and this includes feeding our bodies well. With love,
So many tears shed. So many questions unanswered. So much heartache and pain. What do we say about our perfect God when some prayers seem to get answered, while others are left seemingly unheard until the other side of eternity? Honestly, I don’t know. I don’t have answers for the deepest cries and heartaches of the soul. My words fall so far short from offering any hope or peace. Life’s most painful situations are more than my feeble knowledge can comprehend. That is exactly why we need to look for Truth outside of ourselves. That is why I go running and crying to the Word of God, The Bible, Jesus. I surround myself on every side with a stronghold of protection. I hide within high walls of defense to protect my soul from all assaults that threaten to destroy me. My shelter is simply holding onto the Truth; these truths are a powerful shield that I actively engage:
Jesus says that He is the Gateway to eternal life and that everyone who enters through Him will experience LIFE, FREEDOM, and SATISFACTION. God also says that He is the light and in Him there is NO darkness. So, where does death and disease and heartache and loss fit into this perfect God who is only light and love? It doesn’t. All darkness is from the enemy. The enemy. He is the thief of joy; the thief of health; the thief of life. Jesus says that the thief has only one thing in mind: to steal, slaughter and destroy our souls. Cancer. Death. Loss. Fear. Anxiety. Depression. Self-hatred. Pride. Shame. These are all tactics of the enemy to steal your soul. I am a child of God. You are a child of God. We are children of Light. There is no darkness in us. What appears as darkness to our mind’s eye is merely a shadow meant to cover up the light. Death is only a shadow. But, because of Jesus, we are now light and in us there is no darkness. Then, why cancer? Why death? I don’t know. I only hold onto what I know to be true... and, then I tell myself the truth over and over and over again. Until all doubt flees. Until all fear runs back to hell. Until my mind remembers who God is, who the enemy is, and who I am. We must always hold onto Truth...mostly because it is so easy to get swallowed up by despair. We must speak the words of truth out loud because the power of life and death are in the spoken word. We must declare over our minds and our circumstances that our God has given us LIFE; our God has given us FREEDOM. Freedom from loss and freedom from fear and freedom from the enemy. Therefore, I will keep fighting to see the fulfillment of all the promises God has spoken in His word. I will continue to cry out for healing when people’s body’s are ransacked with disease. I will declare life and freedom over the sick and those covered by the shadow of darkness. I will continue to tell myself the Truth when my mind slips back into doubt. I will cling tightly to Jesus when the storms of life whip me around from all sides. I will abide in Jesus and He will abide in me. References: John 10:10, Proverbs 18:21, 1 Thes 5:5, Rom 8:11, Rom 8:17...basically all of Romans The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. - John 1:5
Isn’t it interesting that no matter how thick darkness is, it can never ‘put out’ the light? It can be dark for miles and miles, but one little flame can pierce the darkness. What if we put that into the context of our neighborhoods? What if people made their homes a beacon of light to a dying neighborhood? I don’t mean dying in the sense of run down. Your neighbor can have the most beautiful flowers and landscaping and still be dying inside. I’ll never forget the first time I knocked on my neighbor’s door before we moved into an RV. The look on his face as he walked up was “What’s wrong? What happened? Do I know you?” all wrapped up in one expression. It’s not normal anymore to even talk to your neighbor. If we are in the world, but not of it, why don’t we do something totally counter-cultural that really speaks of the Kingdom. It’s never been easier to do this. Go over to your neighbor’s house and invite them over for coffee, or a meal, or a yard game… something! People are longing everywhere to not be lonely; to have someone that truly knows them; to be invited into family. What we do should flow out of who we are. God has made us all royal priests! We are to have authority given to us by Jesus over things of the unseen realm. We battle against things not of this world. Although Jesus beat sin and death once for all, we still have a ministry to serve in here on earth before He comes back. That ministry is to be an ambassador of the King; to be a light wherever we’re at. Now I’m not going to give you a step by step process of how best to serve your neighbors or co-workers, because I believe the Holy Spirit can give you the best insight of how to do that. Every person and relationship is different, which is precisely why we need the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. When we bought a 4-plex and lived in one of the apartments, the address was 513. God showed me Matthew 5:13-14 (you are the salt of the earth… you are the light of the world) and Galatians 5:13-14 (you were called to freedom so that through love you can serve one another; love your neighbor as yourself) as a roadmap for why God had us purchase it Through prayer and seeking the Father about the purpose of the house, God revealed to us His plan. We began to have Thursday night worship where the evening was modeled after Acts 2:42-47 and 1 Corinthians 14:26. Prayer, worship, fellowship and eating together happened. People grew closer to God, and others were brought into the Kingdom. Everyone had a part to play, and were encouraged to do so. It was a safe place for all people to grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus. God gave us a lighthouse, but we were to be the light! We were filled up and encouraged by meeting together… everyone having a place... everyone having a voice. What if a church (a group of people following Christ) was full of lighthouses? What would our neighborhoods look like? What would our cities look like? What would America look like? I believe the church needs a grassroots movement. A movement not led by pastors, but the body of Christ. A movement where people that love Jesus simply start loving their neighbors. I believe it would transform lives and transform our nation. I (Mary) had a couple of dreams this past month... (that I remember, that is). One of those dreams was about a diamond. In the dream, a group of Christ followers had this large diamond. The diamond was about 3’ tall and just about as wide around. It was massive and it was beautiful! The group was surrounding the diamond and they all had tools that they were using to try and break apart the diamond. Each one had a different tool and each was hitting the diamond with their tool of choice. Their goal was to figure out how to use the diamond and they were all working very hard. However, they were unable to break the diamond apart. As I was waking up out of the dream I remember thinking that they were using the wrong tools. At first, it seemed pretty clear what the dream meant. The “Church” (group of believers) have this valuable resource. People seem to be working diligently to use it. But, they are working hard with the wrong tools and are unable to access the resources of Heaven. They are unable to break the diamond open. However, as I began talking to God about this dream, He began to show me another possible explanation. Diamonds are not meant to be broken apart and put to work. Diamonds are valuable and of incomparable beauty. To possess a diamond is to signify that you have incredible wealth, and people who own diamonds, often display them for all to see and enjoy. This is especially true with a diamond of this magnitude. I believe that God is saying He has given His people something of incredible value and beauty. We, as children of God, possess the most massive and most beautiful resource ever imagined. We have been working so diligently to do the right things and use the right tools to utilize all of the resources God has given to us. But, God is asking us to see the true beauty and value of what He has put in our midst. He is asking us to stop all of the striving, to put down all of the “tools” we have picked up, and to simply enjoy the majesty of what He has given us: Himself. This is especially true as we enter this special season. Christmas is a time to rest and reflect on the precious gift our Father in Heaven has given to us. Jesus came down to be with us. He made himself man and gave us the most valuable gift of all: eternal life. Take time to rest and gaze upon the beauty of Jesus. I have been sitting in front of a window watching and waiting for about four hours. Why? Well, let me tell you. One of the major challenges of living in an RV is receiving mail. We have had things shipped to places all over California, Arizona and North Dakota.
I did a really dumb thing. I thought I knew a friend’s address. It ends in a seven, but when I purchased my new phone, I ended the address in a nine. Not a big deal? Maybe, maybe not! So, basically I put a shipping address that doesn’t exist. Mary had something shipped there (to the fictional address I gave her) and it was of course returned. Usually it wouldn’t be a big deal, a person would just have to wait longer. However, when you are travelling to a different city the same day it arrives, it’s a big deal. So, here I am. Watching and waiting for a phone that is SO important. Now of course, it’s times like these that God reminds me of my ways… and this was the question today: What if you watched and waited for me like you have for your new phone? BAM! Right between the eyes. God is so good. We all have so much more to grow and learn. Now here’s a bigger thought: What if every follower of Christ watched and waited like I am for my new phone? I have to believe amazing things would happen. It is very much comical how long I have sat here waiting, and how attentive I’ve been. Sitting at a window for hours with nothing happening but rain. I have seen precisely four vehicles in about four hours. One was the homeowner, and one was UPS with two packages… wrong truck! How do we (the followers of Christ) grow a culture that waits on God attentively? I don’t have all the answers, but I have to think that the early church had this down pretty well. Acts 2:42-47, 1 Cor 14:26 have been so pivotal in our journey over the last two years. They speak to how that early church operated. These verses show how excited people were about loving God and loving others. God showed us that a lighthouse is what we began at 513 6th St and what we would continue to do in the future. Would you pray with us that God becomes the most important thing in our lives? More important than sports and toys; more important than endless information? Let’s watch and wait for the Lord this Christmas season and look to 2019 to see what God will do. P.S. The USPS just delivered two more packages, no joke… Wrong truck, still waiting. What would you do if 50 new believers showed up in your church today? That question has been coming up in my head day after day and I’m not sure why. I’ve been praying about it and thinking about it. If you’re reading this, please do the same. To be honest, I’m not sure if many churches could steward those 50 new disciples very well. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to talk the church (people) down. I’m attempting to lift it (people) up.
Really think about it. Fifty people who are rough around the edges. They don’t know anything of what the Bible says; how to act, how to honor, how to love… But they’ve had this turning point in their lives. They’ve had an inescapable event where they truly repented of their sins and know that God is real, and that He loves them. So what do we do? What do you do? The task may seem insurmountable. Now let’s think about this: What if there were five. Five new believers in your church, in your sphere of influence. What would you do? Anything? Discipleship can’t be left up to the pastors, or the “spiritually mature.” It is a task, a command, for all who call themselves followers of Christ. Go and make disciples of all nations… Jesus said that. It wasn’t just to His followers that heard Him speak it-- it was to all of us. I believe a great harvest is already underway in the world. I have heard amazing reports of literally millions getting saved all over the world. America will not be left out. There are many, all across America, who have prayed, have fasted, have longed for the Spirit of God to poured out fresh again across this nation. When this harvest comes, and even when one new believer is added in your church, what will you do? They will need to be discipled… I hope we can all step up to the command of, “Go and make disciples.” Have you ever been in a courtroom? I worked in federal law enforcement for over 10 years, and let me tell you, I’ve been IN a courtroom. You may have all these notions from movies or tv shows as to what it’s like, but until you are the witness on the stand… Well, you get the idea!
It’s a strange thing to be a witness in front of people you don’t know, people in suits, a judge that sits way higher than everyone, men wearing guns, and of course, the person everyone is testifying about. Having to point at a man, in front of all of those people - a man who smuggled people for a living - while he stares you down, is still one of the more intense experiences of my life. The Bible says, “The truth shall set you free.” If there is one thing you want to make sure of when you testify, it’s that you tell the truth. Truth won’t get you into trouble, truth is freeing. It’s easy when you’re cross-examined by the defense attorney to feel like you’ve done something wrong. Some of those guys are really good at twisting words. If you stick to the truth, it’s not a problem. So, back to your life. What does a witness do? He/She testifies, correct? What has God done in your life that is worth testifying about? I could probably think of over 100 things pretty easily. So, here’s the kicker---Tell people about those things. That’s it. Really! It’s that easy. Jesus didn’t say to wait until you’re a pastor or evangelist or Bible study leader. He didn’t even say make sure you know the Bible! Yes, we want to grow in maturity and know what God’s word says, but maturity is not a requirement to be a witness! Isn’t that amazing?! Anyone can do it. Everyone is commanded to do it. God never made sharing the gospel hard. Why do we make it that way? Don’t get me wrong, you can read God’s Word over and over again and He will speak to you in fresh new ways that build new heights in your faith journey. However, Jesus simply said to his followers, “You will be my witnesses”. God wants everyone to be able to share His message, His LOVE. Maybe you are in a really rough season in life, and you’re thinking how could you possibly share anything good with anyone? People want authentic relationships. They don’t want to hear only the good highlights of life all the time. People need to know that we stumble, that we question things and that there are others dealing with many of the same things as they are. I would say this. Share the good and the bad. The good news of Jesus is the best gift you can give to anyone. I think the bad times in life are only a setup for God to come through. If a person knows the authenticity of questioning and doubt in your life, the glory of God will shine all the brighter when Jesus comes through on your behalf. Our hope in Him needs to be shared in a depression-rampant culture. This morning, as I woke up, I heard the words of a song I’ve been listening to over the past few months. “It was the rhythm of your dancing that woke me from my sleep.” I won’t go in depth into all that Steffany Gretzinger is singing about, but if you’re interested, here is some backstory from my point of view. God wakes us up. He woos us. He wants time with us. He wants to pour into us, so that we can pour His life into others. Listen, I have 4 kids and I live in roughly 300 square feet. It’s not always easy to find time with just you and God. He’s given us all reason to testify, to be a witness. Death to life. Depression to hope. Addiction to freedom. Fear to love. https://youtu.be/EkUpLaqqZQA We are witnesses of His power in transforming our lives. I am not who I was a month ago, much less, 5 or 10 years ago. He has made me new, and I’m going to testify of all the things He’s done in my life until my time on earth is finished. Would you join me in being a witness? There are people all around you that need His love. They need hope, they need freedom, they need life. And you are the best one to bring it to them. Silver has long been valued as a precious metal. It is beautiful in its pure form and has had an enduring role in cultures throughout history. However, silver is rarely found in its pure form in nature. Typically, silver is found in silver-bearing ores and a typical ore might contain only .085% silver. Less than 1/10 of 1%! The rest of the ore is just plain rock with some lead, some copper and some brittle, silvery-white metalloid pieces mixed in...I mean, c’mon, I’m not claiming to be a geologist over here. Therefore --> Ore = big rock chunk.
However, the process for getting silver out of that rock is pretty extensive and I think it deserves a good discussion from this non-scientist gal. The process to remove this precious metal and bring it to its true beauty is intense. First, the ore, or large rocks composed of metals, are mined and gathered together. Then, the big rock chunks are crushed and ground to very fine particles. After the ore is crushed, the smelting process begins. Smelt is a super fun word to say (try saying it 3 times for full effect) and smelting is a process that involves heating the metal beyond its melting point. The material is heated in a crazy-hot furnace and the silver begins to separate itself from the impurities. Often in the smelting process, outside elements are added that actually attach themselves to the impurities, which includes the silver particles. After this first smelting process, insoluble particles, called slime or dross, gradually accumulate at the bottom of the large refining tank. Among the insoluble materials is the precious metal silver, which was originally present in the ore. However, now we have pieces with much higher concentrations of silver. The ore basically goes from less than 1/10 of 1% silver to more than 20% silver through the crushing and the heating process. Then, the process is started again. This slime is smelted (such a fun word to say!) - heated to beyond its melting point - and the silver is able to separate from all of the remaining impurities. Serious business. Intense stuff right here, folks. And, God often talks about us as being like silver. In fact, this whole discussion on refining silver came about when I was reading through Malachi. In chapter 3 verses 2-3: But who will be able to endure it when he comes? Who will be able to stand and face him when he appears? For he will be like a blazing fire that refines metal or like a strong soap that whitens clothes. He will sit and judge like a refiner of silver, watching closely as the dross is burned away. He will purify the priests, refining them like gold or silver, so that they may once again offer acceptable sacrifices to the Lord. I have recently been learning that God is closer to me than I could ever imagine possible and that He is truly a good Father. This is something I have known in my mind for quite some time now, but it has just recently transferred down to my heart. The truth that God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth and everything in between, is actually a good Father who loves me as His daughter, His child, is overwhelming. God is a good Father who longs to take care of me and provide for me. A Father who has unlimited resources at His disposal. This is my Father and the revelation in my heart that He is good has revolutionized the way I interact with Him and the way I read the Scriptures. Even this scripture in Malachi. Now, I don’t know about you, but for so long I have read about God’s judgements against His people for doing wrong as an, “I told you so!” moment. Like God was up in Heaven just hoping someone would follow Him and not sin, but when they did mess up He was like, “Well, now I’ve got to destroy you. I mean, I didn’t want to, but you just messed up too much this time. I’m going to destroy you and just start over with this small group of people that I chose at random. So, learn from your mistakes and don’t make me judge you again.” Then, He goes back to sitting and watching and hoping that His children will follow Him. Sounds a little facetious (another fun word), but that is what I have come to realize was my mentality relating to God. I was reading the life-giving scriptures with such judgement in my heart. So, what does this have to do with silver? I’m glad you asked. Psalm 66:10 states, “You have tested us, O God; You have refined us as silver is refined.” Now, with my old mindset, I would have braced myself for the painful process of refining in order to make me a better Christian. I would have willingly said, “Yes” to God but knowing that He was just getting all the evil out of me. However, since the revelation that God is my loving Father who wants to take care of me has planted itself firmly in my heart, I realize I have been reading the scriptures through tainted lenses. It says that God is LOVE and there is NO FEAR in Love. So, God does not sit up in Heaven worrying about me disappointing Him yet again. He cannot worry because worry is caused by fear and there is no fear in God. With this new and enlightened understanding, I read these scriptures through the soft, gentle and loving voice of my good Father. He sees me as silver. He knows that while I may look like a big, ugly chunk of rock, I am really only the silver being covered up my a whole lot of impurities. So, He brings me through the refining process. He says, “My daughter. I love you so much. I will take you through a refining process to judge all of the impurities that have attached themselves to you. Because, that is not who you are. You are silver. I will be with you in this refining process and I will watch closely. Then, you will finally see yourself as I already see you: as silver.” And, it’s so, so good. I’m so grateful to have such a loving Father that can see me as I truly am: silver. A Father that can see through the ugliness of all the crap the world has put on me. He can see me as silver even though I may appear to be more than 99.9% rock chunks of far lesser value. I might even feel like I actually am the lesser valued ore. I mean, I know that I have silver inside of me because I am a follower of Christ. But at times, I can view myself as a rock chunk with a little silver deep inside that people sometimes see when the light hits it at just the right angle. But, most of the time I feel like a normal rock. And, I think you might feel similar. It’s hard to see ourselves as silver when we have been weighed down and covered up by gunk. Sometimes it is even preached in Christian circles that we are dirty sinners with nothing good inside. But, no. God creates masterpieces. He only creates good. And, He is the only creator of LIFE, which includes you. That is precisely why He brings us through the refining process. He so wants to remove all of the dross and the slime that is bogging us down. He wants to refine every single part of our lives so that all that is left is silver. All of the impurities are gone. All of the lesser valued metals are melted away. There is only silver that remains and that silver is stunning. In fact, silver has such unique qualities. One of the neatest qualities I learned in my research is that pure silver reflects all visible light. It exhibits the highest reflectivity of any metal. So, while the refining process to remove silver from chunky old rock is intense and full of crushing and heating and smelting, the byproduct is incredibly beautiful. After that intense process of refining, we become pure silver. We, as pure silver, reflect 100% of the Light of Heaven. And, it is unbelievably stunning. with Love, always, |
